The Boss

Foreshortening is fun! I love it! It’s an integral ingredient in many of my works and has become kind of the thing that ties many of my pieces to a common thread. Yes, that thread may be thin, but it’s still there. When I grow bored of a particular style, as is often is the case, I usually fall back to that thread. Foreshortening, exaggerating the movement of the subject to intensify the story, that may be the common link between all of it, the graffiti, the storytelling, the misfits, there is always an aspect of that reach out and grab you, either with color or shading or whatever! Amazing that it took so many paintings to finally see that thin thread!
