Mercadito didn’t take all my time and I was able to break away for several LaChapelle projects but the best project for sure was meeting Nathan Jenden, senior designer for Diane Von Furstenberg. He didn’t know anything about me and honestly I was more lost not knowing who he is, I know now though and we collaborated on several very colorful airbrushed dresses, hats, jackets and cut pieces that were really cool, and I finally got to travel to London (first time) and experienced my first runway show (another first) during the 2009 London Fashion Week. I can positively say that we both know who each other are now!
